The Fiction Weave website provides interactive fiction games for entertainment purposes only. It is not intended to provide any other form of services or obligations. Fiction Weave makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or correctness of any content or game data.
To access certain features of Fiction Weave, Users are required to create an account. By doing so, Users agree to provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information. Providing false information may lead to account termination without prior notice.
a. Access to certain features of the Service, including turns in the game, requires the use of credits called Weavecoins. The usage terms of these credits are subject to change and will be described in the About page on our website. By purchasing Weavecoins, you agree to the usage terms as listed at the time of purchase. Weavecoins are non-refundable, except as outlined below.
b. Refunds for unused Weavecoins may be granted at the sole discretion of Fiction Weave for cases where technical or unforeseen issues prevent their use. Any request for a refund must be made within 14 days of the purchase.
a. Redemption of Game Codes: Fiction Weave may, from time to time, offer game codes which can be redeemed on our website for Weavecoins. Each game code can only be redeemed once, and upon successful redemption, the corresponding amount of Weavecoins will be credited to the User’s account. The amount of Weavecoins obtainable through game code redemption will be specified with each code.
b. Redemption Limitations: We may limit the frequency with which Users may redeem game codes. Users may redeem no more than one game code per week unless otherwise specified at the time of issue. This limitation is designed to ensure fair access to promotional Weavecoins for all Users.
c. Eligibility and Restrictions: Game codes are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, or given away without explicit written permission from Fiction Weave. Unauthorized distribution, reproduction, or trade of game codes is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of the redeeming account.
d. Expiration and Limitations: Game codes may have expiration dates or other limitations as specified at the time of issue. Expired codes will not be accepted and cannot be replaced. Fiction Weave reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the game code redemption process at any time without notice or liability.
e. No Cash Value: Game codes have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or any other value except as expressly provided for in the Service. The redemption of game codes for Weavecoins is final and cannot be reversed.
f. Liability: Fiction Weave is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of game codes. The risk of loss and title for game codes pass to the recipient upon our electronic transmission to the recipient, or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable.
a. Definition of Beta Period: The “Beta Period” refers to a phase in the development of Fiction Weave where the Service is operational but being tested and refined. The Beta Period is of indeterminate length and is subject to change or conclusion without prior notice.
b. Eligibility for Weavecoin Purchase: During the Beta Period, the purchase of Weavecoins is restricted to Users who have utilized a minimum of 150 Weavecoins obtained through the redemption of promotional game codes. This is to ensure that Users engaging in purchases have familiarity with the Service and its value.
c. Viewing Beta Status: Users can view the current status of the Beta Period, including whether it is active and any anticipated changes to its terms, by visiting the About page on the Fiction Weave website.
d. Changes to Beta Terms: Fiction Weave reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, or terminate the Beta Period at any time, at its sole discretion. Changes to the terms or status of the Beta Period will be communicated through updates to the About page and, where appropriate, direct communication with Users.
e. Limitations and User Responsibilities: Users acknowledge that, during the Beta Period, they may experience service interruptions, changes, or issues not present in the final version of the Service. Fiction Weave will strive to address these in a timely manner but does not guarantee uninterrupted service or resolution of all identified issues during the Beta Period.
f. Feedback and Improvements: Users are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience during the Beta Period. Fiction Weave may use this feedback to make improvements to the Service. User feedback will not be compensated but is greatly appreciated as it contributes to the Service’s development.
g. No Guarantee of Beta Access: Participation in the Beta Period does not guarantee access to future services or features beyond the Beta. Fiction Weave reserves the right to restrict access to certain features or the entirety of the Service post-Beta, based on criteria at its sole discretion.
h. Beta Period Purchases: All purchases of Weavecoins during the Beta Period are final, subject to the existing refund policies as outlined in Section 4(b). Given the nature of the Beta Period, Users should consider their purchases carefully, acknowledging the potential for changes in the Service.
i. Legal Acknowledgment: Users participating in the Beta Period acknowledge the experimental nature of this phase and agree that Fiction Weave shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the Beta Period, beyond what is stipulated by mandatory consumer protection laws.
By engaging with the Service during the Beta Period, Users agree to these Beta Period Terms and Conditions, acknowledging their role in helping test and improve the Service, while accepting the limitations and responsibilities outlined herein.
As Fiction Weave scales in capacity, our primary goal is to provide a stable and enjoyable experience. To do this we may take measures to prevent server overloads. These measures may include the following.
a. User Account Limitations: Fiction Weave may limit the number of active user accounts. These accounts will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. These limits will be raised as the website scales in capacity.
b. Concurrent Login Restrictions: Additionally, the number of concurrent logins (i.e., multiple users accessing the Service at the same time) will be capped to ensure server stability. Should the maximum number of concurrent users be reached, new login attempts will be declined, and the User will receive a response suggesting logging in at a later time. We appreciate your patience as we work to balance demand with a quality user experience.
c. Fair Access Policy: These limitations are designed with fairness in mind, to ensure that all Users have equitable access to our Service. We encourage Users to log off when not actively using the Service to allow others access. Repeated attempts to circumvent login restrictions or account limitations may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on your account.
e. Changes to Service Capacity: Fiction Weave reserves the right to modify, suspend, or enforce these limitations as necessary to ensure the Service remains operational and available to as many Users as possible. We will work to minimize inconvenience and impact on our Users as we work to improve service capacity.
a. Fiction Weave utilizes a 3rd party API for AI interactions. Due to this integration, the game’s response times are subject to the operational state of the 3rd party service. Factors such as 3rd party server load and other issues beyond our control may impact the game’s responsiveness and overall experience.
b. While we are committed to providing a consistent and engaging experience, Fiction Weave cannot guarantee uniform performance at all times.
c. By using Fiction Weave, Users acknowledge these limitations and agree that Fiction Weave is not liable for any inconvenience or interruption in gameplay due to performance issues with the 3rd party API. We value your understanding and patience in these instances.
a. Fiction Weave will save the game state so that Users can sign in and resume play. However, this saved state may be lost without prior warning. Periodic maintenance or updates may also result in temporary unavailability of the Service.
b. The game utilizes AI technology to moderate interactions and update the game state. Due to the unpredictable nature of AI, sudden loss of game state may occur, resulting in the User losing all progress. Fiction Weave is not liable for any such loss, including, but not limited to, any in-game or monetary loss.
a. Fiction Weave retains a log of User interactions on the server for debugging purposes. This data will be treated confidentially and will not be used for any other purpose.

a. Content Restrictions: Fiction Weave aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all Users. Any input, communication, or content that falls under the categories of hate speech, sexual content, violent behavior, or self-harm, or promotes such themes is strictly prohibited.
b. Moderation and Actions: Fiction Weave uses AI and manual moderation tools to review and monitor User inputs and interactions. If a User is found to be violating these content restrictions, Fiction Weave reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include issuing a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of the User’s account.
c. Appeals: If a User believes their account was terminated or suspended in error, they may appeal the decision by contacting support@fictionweave.com. Fiction Weave will review the appeal and provide a response within a reasonable timeframe.
By agreeing to these Terms, Users commit to adhering to our content guidelines.
The content and subject matter of Fiction Weave may not be suitable for children under the age of 14. By using our services, you affirm that you are at least 14 years of age. Fiction Weave will not be held liable for any harm resulting from the exposure of unsuitable content to underage individuals. Guardians or parents of children below the age of 14 who access Fiction Weave are solely responsible for monitoring and controlling their child’s access to the site.
Fiction Weave, its employees, and affiliates will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or injuries sustained due to the use or inability to use the website, even if Fiction Weave has been notified of the potential for such damage. Fiction Weave is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites linked to or from our website.
Fiction Weave reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes agreement to the new terms. While Fiction Weave may not notify Users of all changes to these Terms, we will endeavor to inform Users of any major changes.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Before any litigation, parties agree to attempt arbitration in the State of Texas. If a resolution is not reached through arbitration, any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of Fiction Weave services shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.
